I have been searching for the perfect flats (see my previous post) and finally found ones that I think will be comfortable and cute. I found them via www.endless.com. They are the Report Kimball 2:

Meganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15437736027350130535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-493228385480523997.post-11876490531883711312011-01-10T18:54:00.001-08:002011-01-10T18:59:41.553-08:00NightmaresI’ve been having a lot of dreams recently. Dreams that are nightmares for a Bride-to-be. In one dream somehow I forgot to make up the bouquets. So five minutes before the ceremony my mom and I threw at least one together that I could carry down the aisle. My bridesmaids had to walk empty-handed. How would I ever forget to put the flowers together?

Then I was told that some of my beloved family members were not going to be able to make it in time for the ceremony. But we had to go on without them.

In my latest dream I somehow managed to walk down the aisle in ugly white tennis shoes. Not cute Converse or other statement shoes mind you. Bulky, white, athletic shoes (No, I was not intending to be a runaway bride). To add to that I didn’t have enough time to have my makeup and hair done. My hair looked like I had gone to sleep with wet hair the night before.

As the ceremony commenced I looked at my fiancé and realized I left our wedding bands at my house. My brother-in-law sped to my house and brought them back just in time.

However, these were not nightmares. Even though horrible things were happening to my “big day” and nothing went right, one thing remained consistent: Pure Joy.

Pure joy. That’s all I felt. I knew my wedding wasn’t going to be perfect. Everything was falling apart in my dreams. But at the end of the day I walked toward the man that I love, and those pompous details faded into the background. I wasn’t stressed. I was Mrs. Brandon Hash.

Mrs. Brandon Hash. That’s enough to get me through the little stresses that come my way. Those dreams are helping me keep a good perspective on this whole wedding process. June 18th will be about celebrating our love and the life we have started together, and if things don’t go as planned so be it.

That is the attitude I will try to maintain anyways…. I get to spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams.Meganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15437736027350130535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-493228385480523997.post-45516849972072897382010-08-27T09:46:00.000-07:002010-08-27T10:01:09.920-07:00Brandon's RingP.S. I bought Brandon's wedding band yesterday! Hurst Fine Diamonds (Brandon also got my engagement ring there) was having a store wide sale and I wanted Brandon to pick out his own ring. This is the ring he picked out:

We originally thought tungsten would be the best for him, but Brandon liked the look of the black ceramic the best. I think it fits him. I was so excited to finally buy his wedding band. I have to say it looks pretty hot on his hand...Meganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15437736027350130535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-493228385480523997.post-35167759486081539042010-08-27T09:04:00.001-07:002010-08-27T10:10:26.508-07:00ShoesI have had a dilemma pressing on my mind since I bought my wedding dress three months ago. Shoes. I am 5'10 and my fiance is 6'0. This would not be a problem except for the fact that I absolutely adore heels. And not just a little two inch heels but stiletto, four or five inch heels. Brandon, my beloved, has sweetly told me if I want to wear heels he is man enough to be slightly shorter. Normally, this is not a problem for me. BUT on my wedding day I want there to be a definite height difference. Unfortunately this means I must wear flats. Plus the fact that I already had to add extra length to my bridal gown,(if I had wanted to wear heels I would have had to add extra EXTRA length to my gown), it has been decided that I will wear flats.

Problem: It seems to me that all bridal flats have a little casual bow on the front, look like old women's shoes, or are just plain... plain.

When my sister got married in July, I remembered that she had the same dilemma so I decided to start shopping early. I am glad I did. I still haven't found anything...

I don't want anything cutesy, I want a sophisticated shoe that will complement my lace gown. Is that too much to ask??

If I ever find any options there will be another post on shoe possibilities. For now, that is my bridal show rant.Meganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15437736027350130535noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-493228385480523997.post-65210070399402191562010-05-21T09:48:00.000-07:002010-05-21T10:00:18.669-07:00Wedding Ideas<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 195px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxJ6GtdIHkCS4JrHCVmTiBnI9CCmu6WXBNyHvz7FS-vclP_HH1U8f7O4yTciuFp17aQioGxMAT_iSwO1drXsskTOghUDJV_ceT-agUvUcR4x5jmzRGiv7QzKBuaOOc7q3a9qaoMVdDzODZ/s320/Photo+Booth+3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473768956701653090" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 195px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGtDNy21_KSPw4Gs8wMJcQ425VW1WLEtFwrIhp-owbpgLoobJ0Q2O0S5-5_-SU61y3lSy9ugPaXIRGjtgRFx6PNjDoVI2n8iHtoANqWOzNtlIYgXvhzWt5HHR2O2Y-fXC4chWRsDZyO1Se/s320/Photo+Booth+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473768949035691874" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 195px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdhJpQfNnEXA59Z_6ZKS2Lkx8H3CFL0tG-4VrGypIAIf9MzQKDNhoUtZGixxNPUyBVwrON-xLxqzKbVhXmaHhBdfqV-cxUFJfz8TAx4jR8ykpJKJgyZ-CShRdUbobo5mlXNctLzb3cBUWu/s320/Photo+Booth+1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473768944626091154" />
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 195px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM4qS8JI8pSneGP8E1b35mRWGXwRb6k36udCk4dYaEuuMA1Q00aGmI8ZxjkkkL1TyXXOW19xP9S36C4y_ac2rp9eXZ5KiKI0vjSvJV-e8KL3NBgJn1nKt_f9nvk-Ogtg_41RPgrkP723ce/s320/Photo+Booth1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473768938406803602" />
I'm getting married! My wedding date is set to June 18th of 2011, so I have a little over a year to plan. Since both of my sisters are getting married this year as well I have been picking up many ideas. I have also been raiding tons of wedding blogs.

I came across this idea via Weddinggawker

Click here for the original website.

I absolutely love this idea! Photobooths are all the rage but this, can be a cheaper, not to mention more creative way of doing photobooths.

Now to find some vintage wallpaper...Meganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15437736027350130535noreply@blogger.com2
